Or.. Umm something.. I’ve alway been really bad at titling things. Regardless, I’m done with my first set of hair falls. I know I look a bit goofy and the hair falls don’t sit perfectly where I wanted them to be but to be honest.. I’ve only been trying to practice being a girl for around two years.. I pretty much have had to learn this stuff on my own and with no peers to tell me what I am doing wrong. When I get a job I will also be finishing off the look with hairbands that cover up my hair line and fall strips that will look like more attractive bangs. But I am extremely happy with how the falls themselves turned out and am looking forward to creating more.

Another plus is that getting glammed up for taking the pictures was really empowering. I know the clothes aren’t pressed. My entire life is pretty disorganized right now but getting dressed up and putting on stockings and highlighting my femininity feels really good. It emphasizes to me that I was never meant to live my life as a guy and how confident I feel in really girly clothes. It also emphasized to me that all I really need in order to pass is a good deal of laser and that I should get my ass in gear and get a job so I can start progressing in transition. Because.. God damn I look sexy!

I know that sounds pretty dirty, but it really isn’t. This post is a little how to on getting the most possible out of your address bar. This particular set of instructions is for firefox but can be easily adapted to any current browser. Yubnub is a website that is basically the internet’s version of a Command Line Interface. What this means is that Yubnub has all sorts of functionality that users have built in just by creating commands. You don’t have to create any commands to get a lot of power out of Yubnub though. Most of the dirty work has already been done. There are multiple thousands of commands waiting to be used. They highlight the best commands by calling them “Golden Eggs” and listing them on a page. the most simple commands look something like this: “g your search query” or “gi kittens” for a google image search of kittens.

Now, Lets get started.

  1. Type about:config into the address bar of firefox and hit enter. You will probably want to do this in a different tab.

  2. Search for keyword.

  3. Right click the key that has a google address and select modify.

  4. Replace the google address with “http://yubnub.org/parser/parse?command=”

  5. Save and close the about:config page.

  6. In your address bar type “g kittens”.

  7. Go to yubnub.org to find tons of other commands that are available.

  8. Profit.

So over the last few days I have been getting more and more interested in making a set of my own yarn or ribbon dreads. They look really cute and they would give my hair the appearance of body. I could add a bunch of the ribbons that I have been collecting but I don’t know what the heck to do with. I am thinking that it would be a nice relaxing hobby to just start making these in all sorts of styles. Right now I need a set that is red and black to go with one of my Tripp outfits and a set that is more or less black with little embellishment and I also want to make one that is bright neon pink. My collar is that color too so that would probably be the best color to start with. You can be just about as creative as you want with them and they are convenient as you can take them out when you want to look “straight”.
